11.4 and So Much More at Progress Exchange 2014

September 05, 2014 Company and Community , Application Development, Digital Experience, OpenEdge

We’re getting so close - only 31 days left until Progress Exchange 2014. And if you haven’t signed up yet, you should really take a second look at what we have going on for our OpenEdge partners!

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you about all the hands-on labs, sessions and interactive demos we’re offering on the latest Progress technologies, emphasize that this is your opportunity to meet and network with the entire Progress community or remind you that you’ll have the opportunity to meet firsthand with our developers and architects to provide your input to the next release of OpenEdge.

But, I do want to highlight that there are plenty of new OpenEdge features and capabilities you’re going to want to learn more about so you can take full advantage of them:

  • The new ABL unit testing framework that is now part of OpenEdge 11.4. We’re hosting a “What’s new in ABL” Exchange session where you can find out all about it.
  • The new table partitioning capabilities of the OpenEdge database, which can increase data availability by allowing you to partition off data by date (for purging) or region for data separation for improved performance.
  • The newest enhancements to the Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge, in the areas of mobility, rules and BPM, which allow you to integrate new capabilities in your upcoming development projects.
  • The next generation App Server that will be delivered as part of OpenEdge 11.5.

I can’t emphasize enough what a great opportunity Exchange will be for you to learn all of the ins and outs of the new OpenEdge 11.4 and work directly with the development team at Progress. Watch my video invite below for even more reasons why this is an event you don’t want to miss, and be sure to book your place at Exchange today!
