Keeping the Spark Alive After Exchange

Progress Exchange 2013 may be behind us, but we’re happy to report that this past week was filled with many exciting networking opportunities, product launches, and valuable insights from keynote speakers. During the course of the conference, the Boston Westin Waterfront hosted Progress partners, customers and employees, as well as press and analysts that were all eager to learn about our new direction as a company.

Throughout the week we held social media contests, live-tweeted sessions and took a lot of pictures to share the excitement, but we also had the chance to sit down for some one-on-one interviews with Progress executives, partners and customers. Why did we hold Exchange?

Phil Pead, President and CEO of Progress saw the event as a means of connecting with customers to inspire them to create new tools from Progress’s platform. Watch the video to hear Phil discuss in greater depth what he hoped attendees took away from the show.

What is Progress Pacific all about?

The first day of Progress Exchange included a session with Progress Chief Product Officer John Goodson. He discusses several features of Progress Pacific, and how it will help mange the explosion of data in the video below.

What is the new Progress spark branding?

As you can tell by the new look of our website, we’ve rebranded ourselves! In the video below, Progress VP & CMO, Jennifer Smith discusses the thinking behind the spark that you now see in our logo.

How do Progress customers use the solutions?

During Progress Exchange 2013, we were able to connect with several partners and customers and ask them a few questions about their thoughts on working with Progress.  Gadi Yedwab, CEO of Explore Analytics, a software service company that provides business intelligence solutions, discusses his three favorite aspects of Progress Exchange in the video below.

Sophy Schiller, CEO and Partner at Apero Solutions, was another attendee we had the privilege of speaking with. Apero Solutions, has partnered with Progress Software for over 25 years, and according to Sophy, the partnership continues to thrive. She commended Progress’s dependability and value in the video below.

We’re happy to say that we’ve successfully achieved the goal of developing and strengthening customer and partner connections the past week. Judging by the responses in our interviews and feedback from the conference floor, Progress Exchange 2013 sparked innovation and got everyone excited for what’s to come in 2014!
