I will be in Little Rock, AR for the what I understand has become a vibrant annual gathering of the .NET faithful, organized by the Little Rock .NET Users Group. Here's the abstract of the presentation I will be doing next week: Understanding and Optimizing Performance with ADO.NET Loaded with tips and tricks on improving performance of ADO.NET applications, this session covers a broad range of topics with ADO.NET that are performance related. It includes discussion on how choices programmers make in the ADO.NET architecture can affect performance and also includes tricks for writing efficient SQL. Database specific tips are discussed for SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and Sybase. I will be on my feet at 2.30, the last session on Dev Track A, for about an hour or so.
