Partner Summit 2017 Agenda

Hybrid Data Pipeline for Cloud Deployments

1:00-1:45

Progress DataDirect Hybrid Data Pipeline is generally available for distribution within your cloud strategy. Join us for an overview of how other partners are distributing this technology for open analytics strategies or as a data gateway for cloud and on-premises data sources. Then we’ll discuss our vision so we can better align with your product roadmap.

Product Enhancements and Roadmap Update

2:00-2:45

Join the product team to see the latest enhancements, features and connectors delivered in H2 2016, including items directly requested at previous Partner Summits. This discussion will include insights based on the features being requested to help predict and address your customer requests around data connectivity.

Industry REST API Debate: OData vs. GraphQL vs. ORDS

3:00-3:45

Learn the latest industry trends surrounding REST API standardization and what this means for your roadmap. OData is an OASIS standard REST API and has been established among tech companies such as Microsoft, SAP, CA, IBM and Salesforce. GraphQL was created by Facebook in 2015 and has already been deployed at tech companies such as Facebook, Shopify and Intuit. ORDS is the Oracle REST API and delivers similar standardization for Oracle-centric applications.

Exclusive Partner View into Our Metrics and Statistics

4:00-4:45

DataDirect gets thousands of evaluations for our connectors and hybrid services each month. In this session, the product team will share unique insights and stories from this data, as well as our independent research, and what it means for you. We’ll also share data source rankings in terms of cost, popular cloud infrastructure deployments, survey insights and more. This data can provide a quantitative glimpse into how your competitors are going to market with data connectivity across different types of sources, industries, platforms, deployments and more.

Why Attend?

Most importantly, you will want to spend some quality time with your engineering team (that’s us). All jokes aside, you will have the chance to preview what we are building to accelerate your road maps and optimize your engineering resources. You will also have the chance to keep up with your competitors who have registered, as well as network with other cutting edge vendors facing similar challenges. Here are a few more reasons:

  • Learn about the latest data connectivity trends spanning big data to analytics
  • Hear directly from our product architects
  • Speak with our product and engineering leadership
  • Tell us what you like, and what you don’t like
  • Influence our roadmap to better align with yours
