Progress360 ended on a high note, with a charity event, a product release party and mimosas.
Progress360 has come to an end, and day three proved to be just as fun and inspiring as the rest of the event.
The day kicked off with “Mimosas with a Mission,” a charity event where attendees and employees stuffed 100 drawstring backpacks with school supplies, including folders, notebooks, pens and pencils. The backpacks and school
supplies, as well as a donation of $5,000, will go to 71 students at Our Sister’s School, a school for economically disadvantaged girls in New Bedford, MA.
In addition to this contribution, Progress donated 20 iPads to Kids in Tech, an after-school STEM program for students in Lowell, MA. We also gave a financial donation of $5,000 to the LEAH Project, a STEM program for BIPOC youth.
Progress is proud to be able to contribute to children’s education, and to offer opportunities for young students to expand their interests and knowledge.
While attendees and employees packed the bags, the Telerik and Kendo UI R3 2022 Release Party was happening live.
The product release was celebrated on a livestream featuring Progress employees Ed Charbeneau, Principal Developer Advocate; Sam Basu, Developer Advocate; Alyssa Nicoll, Senior Developer Advocate; Kathryn Grayson Nanz, UI Designer and Front-End Developer; Eve Turzillo, Senior Developer Advocate; and Carl Bergenhem, Principal Product Manager.
It was a great end to a great event, with the Telerik community coming together both in person and virtually.
“Today was a really beautiful wrap-up for what has been an incredible conference—not only Progress360, but also DevReach and ChefConf,” said Alyssa. “Seeing these communities in person has been amazing. We also had a release this morning, and we were on a livestream, so we got to celebrate with our viewers and customers.”
“It was really, really cool,” she continued. “I’m so humbled to be a part of this community, and thankful too.”
Progress360 brought executives, developers and IT operations and security professionals together in one place. From engaging, insightful workshops, to inspiring keynotes and charitable events, Progress360 packed a lot of activity into just three days. It was great to bring the Chef, Telerik and Progress communities all together in person. We can’t wait to see what next year brings.
