Last week, our event marketing team informed me that we will have a booth at the MongoDB World conference starting June 23. Since I got the news, I’ve been skipping up and down the hall with excitement. While some of my co-workers tried to normalize my excitement, I’m looking forward to a great event.
Those co-workers think my skipping down the hall is complete “fan-boy” behavior. They are certainly not Mongo Haters; just not as bullish on MongoDB as I am. As we discussed in the 2014 Data Connectivity Outlook, MongoDB has the largest usage in the NoSQL, NewSQL, and non-relational category. Looking at the responses of the survey and talking to numerous folks around our office a growing number of organizations are currently using or supporting MongoDB. Some of my recent informal polling with our data connectivity customers confirms further growth. The additional influx of interest in our preview program for standardized connectivity to MongoDB, I see nothing but growing demand for MongoDB.
After looking at the posted agenda for the conference, I’m looking forward to hearing about the unique and interesting implementations of MongoDB. See you there!
