In a landmark year for the Sitefinity Website of the Year Awards, Progress recognizes 17 Sitefinity-powered digital experiences for excellence and innovation.
Since 2011, the Sitefinity Website of the Year Awards have recognized partners and customers for the exceptional digital experiences they deliver to their customers and end users. This year’s contest recognizes customers and partners that pivoted their digital experience strategy to address new consumer needs due to a pandemic.
The contest was open to all Sitefinity platform deployments that were launched or significantly upgraded in the past year—running on a recent version of Sitefinity.
After opening up the contest for submissions, an internal Progress jury judged the websites’ visual design, content, layout and navigation, complexity, innovation and significance. The judges votes then decided three standout finalists in each of the 17 contest categories—totaling 51 impressive finalists.
From there, the community was able to vote for its favorite websites and who should be the respective winner in each category.
So What Makes a Website a Sitefinity Website of the Year?
Although this has been a challenging year for us all—those challenges provided opportunity. Needing to continue business online, satisfy customers, grow revenue and enable employee self-service forced us to rethink how our digital experiences support our business. The pandemic demanded that we be more innovative and forward-thinking about how we engage our customers, partners and employees online.
The winners of this year’s Sitefinity Website of the Year Awards said, “Challenge accepted.” The ability to take a core challenge and solve it in a creative way through digital experiences is what defines a Sitefinity Website of the Year.
For example, Tom Tailor’s brick-and-mortar sales were impacted by the pandemic this year. With partner Vareo, they were able to adapt, overcome and excel.
Or take the Clínica Universidad de los Andes. They needed a way to facilitate the scheduling of medical appointments securely and intuitively. And they found a straightforward solution with Sitefinity and partner LFi’s strategic guidance.
Please check out all 17 of award-winning, Sitefinity-powered digital experiences. Each has had a unique challenge they were looking to solve and as well as a distinctive way they leverage Sitefinity to get the job done.
