FAQ from our OpenEdge 11.2 Webinar

FAQ from our OpenEdge 11.2 Webinar

Posted on April 01, 2013 0 Comments

During our recent webinar on OpenEdge 11.2, we received a lot of great questions about the new release. We couldn’t get to them all of them during the hour, so we’ve pulled together a quick Q&A highlighting some of the most popular questions that we received.

1. Is there any application developed now in the market that I can review? Progress Developer Studio comes with our AutoEdge|The Factory sample application, which supports mobile devices. Additional sample applications are being added over time, and when available can be immediately downloaded from Developer Studio. Please also periodically visit the Progress web site for announcements around OpenEdge applications that have been enhanced to support mobile devices.

2. Do you have hands-on training for OpenEdge Mobile for developers? There are a variety of resources available including detailed product documentation, video tutorials, online help, and sample programs.

3. Where can we find the documentation and technical help text on 11.2? The complete documentation set for OpenEdge 11.2 is available on Progress Communities, in PDF and HTML format, at the OpenEdge 11.2 Documentation homepage.

If you would like to listen to the full recording of the webinar, you can access it here.
