Long Live Content-Driven Mobile Apps

We  continue to expand and improve our mobile offering by providing a better, easier and faster way for creating content-driven mobile apps. Our latest efforts have focused on a seamless integration between Sitefinity CMS and the Telerik Platform, a comprehensive solution for designing, building, deploying, managing and analyzing all your mobile apps.

This integration provides capabilities that are far superior than the built-in Sitefinity Mobile App Builder. The new capabilities enable customers to quickly create mobile apps by reusing content, digital assets and data structures from your CMS-powered website.

Therefore, we have decided to discontinue the Sitefinity Mobile App Builder, pictured in the image, with the upcoming Sitefinity CMS 9.2 release later this fall. The built-in functionality to create mobile apps within the CMS will no longer be available and we will also remove the Sitefinity Box mobile app from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Support for existing users will continue until Jun 30, 2017.
