Nomination Period Opens for Progress Champions 2025

Posted on November 12, 2024 0 Comments

Last year, we announced the launch of the Progress Champions Program, a program highlighting expert developers, designers, trainers, partners and influencers who are an active part of the software development community.

In 2024, we were happy to honor 40 Champions from the Sitefinity, Telerik and Kendo products whose excellence is matched by collaboration and community spirit. These individuals aren't just skilled; they drive the Progress community forward.

Now that 2025 is upon us, it’s time to take that journey again.

We’re looking to highlight, appreciate and reward Champions from the Sitefinity, Telerik, Kendo and (new this year) Progress Chef and Progress MOVEit product lines!

Know someone who would be great fit to be a Progress Champion—we’re all ears. Nominations are open and evaluations will be in December 2024. We want to see your names!

What Makes a Champion?

Progress Champions represent the very best in our community. Their commitment to excellence and collaboration is what moves us forward, and we are proud to be a part of their journey toward continued success.

Like other honor programs, we recognize all that Progress Champions do and lead with empathy, but we also have a few expectations. As prospects look to be Progress Champions, we want to be transparent as to what is expected annually—most Champions will easily go above and beyond.

  • Champions are expected to be professional, have an independent voice and be inclusive.
  • Champions share expertise through active participation and provide feedback.
  • Champions are expected to share knowledge about Progress products enthusiastically.
  • Champions are expected to influence online and offline.
  • Five wins sought in any combination through the calendar year:
    • Speak at a User Group/Meetup/Conference and demo/talk about Progress products.
    • Write an article and mention/use Progress products.
    • Talk about Progress products on podcasts/talk shows.
    • Use Progress products in your own livestream or join our DevRel team on livestreams.
    • Answer five questions on Progress products on any developer forums.
    • Create videos or join us for a thought-leadership webinar.
    • Demonstrate advocacy for Progress products internally/with clients.
    • Provide a review on Trust Radius/G2 Crowd/TrustPilot/Gartner Peer Insights.
    • Anything else innovative that helps.
