• Accessing a REST service from an ABL application
• Providing REST Services from a Progress OpenEdge application

July 26 - 29, 2022 – Object-Oriented Programming in the OERA

This course is beneficial if you are transitioning from procedural to object-oriented programming. You will also learn about creating better structured and more maintainable code using object-oriented patterns. This course provides ABL developers with an in-depth understanding of Object-Oriented development topics, taking their knowledge to the next level, including:

August 2 - 4, 2022 – Progress Application Server (PAS) for OpenEdge Administration

This class is delivered in three half-day sessions and covers how to administer Progress Application Server (PAS) for OpenEdge instances in a production environment. During this course, developers will learn to:

• Create and configure PAS for OpenEdge instances in a production environment
• Deploy applications in PAS for OpenEdge
• Run a PAS for OpenEdge sample in a production environment
• Implement the load distribution for PAS for OpenEdge

August 8 – 18, 2022 – OpenEdge Database Administration Performance & Tuning

This course is beneficial for OpenEdge Administrators charged with configuring, maintaining, and tuning. Progress databases topics covered include:

• Implementing backup and recovery strategies
• Devising strategies for recovering from hardware failure
