Content personalization and dynamic delivery often get a bad rap. When done right, however, the content consumer can make informed decisions faster. See how Salesforce uses content auto-classification and a tightly governed taxonomy to find, serve, and analyze content not only in its Marketing organization, but across the company. While keeping content in its original silo, proper taxonomy application allows for the success of Creating Once, Publishing Everywhere (COPE).
Speakers: Paul Kelly
Join Mr. Kelly for an insightful exploration of the challenges and successes of institutionalizing knowledge management at The Canadian Press. Canadian Press is a news agency providing real-time, bilingual multimedia stories across Canadian print, broadcast and digital platforms. To meet the challenges of a volatile industry, the Canadian Press has upgraded its CMS, DAM and enhanced its content delivery with a knowledge management system: Progress Semaphore. The initial goal of automatically tagging stories brought along a new seriousness regarding metadata leading to broader technical and organizational changes.
Speakers: Bijan Chowdhury
Financial institutions in the US and around the world are adopting ISO 20022 as the native language for payments and financial transactions. This XML-based language and message schema is finally being adopted as the standard for all high-value US dollar payments, domestically and internationally. As of April 2024, almost two trillion US dollars are exchanged between banks every day using ISO 20022; by March 2025, daily volumes using this format will double to four trillion US dollars.
What’s the impact of this change? Besides its universality, this message format also delivers a much richer (and more complex) set of data attributes for each payment transaction and every participant. Reliably understanding and processing payments will depend on implementing XML technologies to preserve, manage, and share this data securely with other systems and use cases, such as search and AI/ML applications. As the payments industry evolves, so will the need to “speak” ISO 20022.
Speakers: Balvinder Dang
This session will explore the transformative power of Knowledge Graphs and AI in turning data into actionable insights. It will cover the integration of structured and unstructured data into a unified Knowledge Graph, the application of AI to enhance data understanding and discovery, as well as real-world use cases of these technologies driving innovation across industry verticals. Attendees will see a demo of two real-world use cases and gain insights into practical strategies for implementing these technologies to harness the full potential of their data, ensuring competitive advantage in an increasingly data-driven world.
Speakers: Shan Muthuvelu
In the post-pandemic supply chain world, disruptions have become the new normal. Replacing the ERP or migrating all applications to the Cloud does not give the supply chain efficiency and resiliency an enterprise is looking for. It is time we adopted an enterprise-centric supply chain ontology which can communicate with all ERPs, market signals, partner data, partner APIs, IoT and AI models. If we could fast track that journey with precomposed unified supply chain data models, composable integrations and English-like orchestrations, then we get a jump start on focusing on the efficiency and resiliency that we are looking for.
Speakers: Dave Cassel
