SOFIA, BULGARIA, NOVEMBER 15, 2010 - Telerik, a provider of end-to-end solutions for the software development lifecycle, ranked first in the Best Employers in Bulgaria 2010 Study in the category of small and medium-sized companies. The survey was conducted by Aon Hewitt, one of the world’s leading companies in human capital consulting and outsourcing solutions.

With history of being distinguished as a top employer in Bulgaria for the past three years, Telerik won this year’s first prize in competition with 31 companies from various industry sectors. The Best Employers assessment is based on a survey conducted among employees and therefore represents an objective appraisal of how people from within perceive a particular company.

Based on the feedback of 6,000 employees and 220 top managers, this year’s participants were evaluated on the basis of work environment, opportunities for development, manager-employee relationship, remuneration and benefits, balance between work and personal life, processes, etc.

The study “Best Employers in Bulgaria” is conducted for the fifth consecutive year as part of the regional study for Central and Eastern Europe. The study aims at measuring the effectiveness of an organization in providing a workplace that engages the intellectual and emotional commitment of its employees. It also provides insights on how organizations achieve real competitive advantage through their human capital. The ultimate goal of Aon Hewitt is to explore what makes an organization a good place to work.
