As a Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our Salesforce CPQ environment. This is a unique opportunity to bring your extensive experience and best practices to a relatively new system, driving significant improvements and ensuring its stability. You will have substantial ownership and influence over the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce CPQ solutions, working closely with a dedicated team to support our high-volume, high-transaction SaaS products. In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and architecture of Salesforce CPQ solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with business strategy.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and high-quality coding practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation.
- Manage complex integrations between Salesforce CPQ and other enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Salesforce CPQ configurations, including pricing rules, quote templates, and renewal processes.
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and industry best practices in all solutions.
- Stay updated with Salesforce CPQ enhancements, industry trends, and AI-driven Salesforce capabilities, recommending impactful features and improvements.
- Lead change management efforts, including documentation, training, and user adoption for new solutions.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a strong focus on Salesforce CPQ solutions.
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and declarative tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow).
- Extensive experience in designing scalable Salesforce architecture, including complex integrations, security models, and data structures.
- Proficiency in Salesforce DX, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Certifications: Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Developer II (preferred).
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce CPQ functionalities, including product and pricing configurations, amendments, renewals, and quote templates.
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Awareness of AI-driven Salesforce solutions, such as Salesforce Einstein (a plus).
- Proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic, Agile environment.
- Solid problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
