Senior Account Manager - Key Accounts

In this dynamic role, you'll take on multifaceted responsibilities, including developing new business, account management, and managing elements of the overall sales journey for some of our most important Key Accounts, many of which are based in the Middle East. Your tasks will range from generating and qualifying new and expansion business via multiple channels (inc. phone, email, social media, and others) to working with your Inside Sales Representative to help them ensure timely renewals.  Additionally, you'll be tasked with working with Inside Sales to prospect warm leads within our extensive customer base.
 
As part of your responsibilities and with support from Inside Sales, you will oversee complete sales cycles, starting from prospecting and qualification all the way through to closure. This means you'll be involved in every step, leveraging your expertise to drive successful outcomes.
 
Moreover, you'll play a pivotal role in meeting product quotas and driving expansion and upsell opportunities within our customer base and finding and executing on new product adoptions within your Key Accounts. This involves understanding our product offerings and identifying areas where additional products or services could benefit our customers. By delivering exceptional customer experiences, you'll set the stage for continued engagement and foster growing interest in Progress' technologies and expertise.

In this role, you will:
  • Execute solution and value selling to your accounts. Attain knowledge of client’s business and intel on future projections and goals. Research and understand the customers marketplace, trends and threats
  • Sustain and nurture solid relationships whilst building effective new relationships and develop influence with key account stakeholders
  • Lead the account and successfully orchestrate resources and virtual team around opportunities to ensure success. Account Manage all aspects of the customers business
  • Engage internal stakeholders to support and implement customer account plans aligning with their company goals
  • Negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management within enterprise account
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and build a strong pipeline, through expansion and product adoption. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasting and management of quota
  • Manage Agreements and Commercial Negotiations
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Visit clients, many based in the Middle East, for onsite planning and implementation meetings
 Your background:
  • А proactive can-do attitude and commitment to achieving the Key Account Goals
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in a sales role, with 3+ years of experience in a closing role
  • Passion for sales and exceeding revenue targets through demonstrating tenacity, proactiveness, and creativity in the way of engaging Progress’ key customers.
  • Enthusiastic, driven, and confident personality
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Proven Team Collaboration
  • Goal-oriented with a positive mindset
  • Arabic fluency preferred
