Join us as a Senior Regional HR Business Partner and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward. This will be a hybrid role working between your home office and our Raleigh NC office. Please be aware that the role will start with being onsite 4 days a week, though in time may decrease to 3 days a week.
The Senior Regional HR Business Partner is the primary HR contact for our Raleigh site and a key contributor to the Americas HRBP team. In this role, you will partner with local leaders, managers and employees to align HR and company strategies that drive employee engagement, manager effectiveness and local/regional development.
In this role, you will:
Site Success
- Understand company and functional (HR) objectives, as well as those of the various constituencies at the Raleigh site and overall Americas region, to develop and effectively deliver HR programs, initiatives, etc. that advance these groups’ interests. This work involves a high level of complexity and collaboration across HR and business teams.
- Execute HR programs, practices and processes for the site and/or region, working across all levels, e.g. local leadership, managers and employees as required
- Be the subject matter expert on local employment legislation and practices.
- Lead regular connects with the local leadership team, and between G&A functions responsible for the site.
Employee Engagement & Support
- Independently assess and successfully resolve complex local/regional matters. Conduct in-depth analyses, collaborate with internal SMEs, propose solutions that incorporate innovation and best practices, consider budget implications and ROI. Align with key stakeholders to adopt and implement solutions.
- Be the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support on policies, practices and conflict resolution.
- Annual employee engagement survey: Review and analyze regional and country-level employee engagement results. Prepare local reports, share with local leadership/management. Collaborate with local leadership and G&A functions to develop and execute action. Support leaders in driving progress and accountability.
- Identify learning/development needs of local population, make recommendations, collaborate with our internal learning team to develop training, participate in delivery.
- Lead and/or participate in employment processes, where needed.
Manager Effectiveness
- Lead and/or participate in manager development for the site/region, collaborating with the learning team on content, advising on skills needs, local legislation requirements, cultural nuances, etc.
- Advise and support managers through various HR program execution, performance management, etc.
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Support the company’s acquisition growth strategy by playing a key role throughout the M&A lifecycle.
HR Organizational Excellence
- Identify areas for process and program improvement, make recommendations. Collaborate with internal CoEs to develop and deliver solutions.
- Act as mentor to support team development.
- Share knowledge of local HR regulations and practices with broader HR team, site leadership, etc.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant course of study
- 6+ years in a regional HR role; experience in other aspects of HR a plus
- Demonstrated excellence in relationship-building and stakeholder management across all levels of leaders and employees.
- Extensive experience handling complex employee relations matters.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; able to translate complex messages to various stakeholder groups in both individual and group settings
- Self-motivated, organized and strong analytical skills. Able to manage competing and urgent priorities in a fast-paced and prone to change environment.
- Experience working in a global organization, effectively collaborating across cultures and time zones.
