We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Podio Team. Podio is a collaborative work and project management platform designed to streamline workflows, improve communication, and boost team productivity. It provides extensive customization options, allowing users to create personalized workspaces, build no-code apps, and manage tasks, projects, and communication effortlessly in one place. A standout feature is its workflow automation, which lets users automate repetitive tasks and optimize business processes without requiring complex coding. With rules and triggers, actions can be executed automatically, saving time and increasing efficiency within Podio workspaces.
We are growing our Sofia team and looking for individuals with a natural curiosity and a passion for learning eager to accelerate their software development skills. In this role, you will:
- Create and execute frontend/backend automated test cases
- Creating robust, high–quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Develop test strategies and implement test automation for new and existing features
- Suggests new methods and processes that enhance our quality, productivity, and speed
- Implement and maintain test infrastructure
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback and streamlined deployments
- Plan, implement, and execute testing tasks across various product areas – database, integration, functional, and UI/UX
- Develop and enhance deployment processes and scripts and build pipelines
- We seek a proactive problem-solver who will analyze the root causes of issues and create effective solutions to foster continuous improvement within our organization
- Help in maintain and improve the cloud infrastructure services
Your background:
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure solutions and services (AWS or Azure)
- Experience in Test Automation, Test Tooling and Infrastructure
- Good programming skills for writing automation tests
- Experience with testing microservices and distributed systems
- Experience in CI/CD processes
- Experience with Continuous Integration systems (Jenkins)
- Working knowledge of Docker
- Be a confident self-starter with a curious mind
- Possess high attention to detail
- Do not be afraid to challenge when necessary
- Be a team player
- Excellent communication skills in English
Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have:
- Relational DB knowledge
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash
- Experience using Git and its command line
- Experience with JIRA
- Familiarity with tools like New Relic or Splunk
- Expertise in diagnosing network latency, and system resource contention and exhaustion
