Senior UX Designer

In this role you will collaborate with the team to create, modify, and maintain wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final designs that align with project goals. You will also work independently on well-defined, clearly scoped tasks while seeking guidance as needed to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables. 
 
In this role, you will:
  • Create wireframes, concepts, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs to effectively communicate design solutions across the entire release
  • Understand and apply UX principles. Follows the established practices, UI patterns and guidelines within the product
  • Demonstrate awareness and high level of interest in the latest trends in the field
  • Frequently seek diverse feedback, receives and weighs with a growth mindset, and integrates as appropriate
  • Participate in product development, creating user flows and interaction design prototypes.
  • Participate in preparation of user personas, use cases, interaction flow diagrams
  • Build information architecture for specific features or product areas
  • Actively participate in creation and maintenance of in-house developed design system, such as designing components, building blocks, templates, demo applications and icons.
  • Closely collaborate with senior team members and peers (participate in team meetings and peer reviews)
  • Work with business requirements, use cases and user stories. Understand business needs and the product domain
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to work independently, taking full ownership of multiple projects and tasks
  • Effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, engineering leads, and marketing teams, to ensure productive and successful outcomes.
  • Act as a leader within the UX organization by actively contributing to UX team culture and principles
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to others across functional areas on how to apply design thinking and human-centered design principles
  • Help team members remain focused during times of fluctuation and change
Your background:
  • BA/MA in any discipline – Art, Graphical, UI/UX design/Humanitarian or commuter science is beneficial.
  • At least 4-5 years of related professional experience
  • High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Illustrator
  • Very good understanding of how design, prototyping and user research meet complex and varied requirements within tight development frames
  • Up-to-date understanding of product-related user interface technologies and trends
  • Open-minded attitude and flexibility while working on the discovery of new products
  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge in terms of design systems and their usage (Material, Bootstrap, MS Fluent etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of guidelines and best UX patterns for both – web/desktop and mobile platforms (Windows/Mac and iOS/Android)
  • Experience with diverse stakeholders (designers, developers, PMs, marketing teams)
  • Logical thinking to translate complex interactions into simple user experiences and flows
  • Persistence and attention to detail
  • A fundamental understanding of color theory, font usage, proportions, and visual aesthetics in general
  • Very good communication skills
  • Good command of English language
  • Proven track record in responsive/adaptive web & mobile applications and visual design
