Chief People Officer
Amanda Arria serves as the Chief People Officer at Progress, where she is responsible for all aspects of the company's global People Team function. In this role, Amanda is dedicated to building and sustaining an organization and culture that meets the evolving needs of the business and its employees, fostering a committed and engaged global workforce.
Amanda is a strategic people-centric executive with extensive experience supporting global, multi-billion-dollar technology businesses. She has a proven track record of cultivating strong, diverse People Team organizations focused on culture, employee experience and results. Amanda is passionate about inclusion and diversity and is the founder of Women in Energy, a global group of more than 5,000 women dedicated to connecting, networking and growing in the technology and energy industries.
In her role at Progress, Amanda will build upon the company’s reputation as an award-winning best employer, leveraging her experience to create a world-class people strategy that empowers Progressers to thrive as the business continues to grow and evolve. She is also well versed in M&A, having led the people and cultural integration efforts for numerous acquisitions throughout her career, preparing her to best support Progress and its Total Growth strategy.
Before joining Progress, Amanda was Chief Human Resources Officer at EFI, a leader in digital imaging, where she led all aspects of the Human Resources function across both the EFI and Fiery businesses. She previously held global human resources leadership roles at Schneider Electric, EMC (acquired by Dell Technologies), and Cisco Systems.
Outside of work, Amanda can often be found spending time with her husband and their two teenage children. Amanda is a proud mom who believes in the importance of work/life integration and balance.
Amanda earned her BA in Business Administration from Merrimack College and her MS in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
