Sitefinity CMS allows you to extend its default functionality by implementing some custom logic that requires jQuery. jQuery is one of the most widely used Javascript libraries. It is designed to simplify client-side programming by giving developers an easy way to navigate a document, select DOM elements, create animations, handle events, and perform AJAX requests.
You can use Sitefinity’s built-in jQuery library or you can use a specific version of jQuery either from a resource file or from a Content Delivery Network (CDN).
We recommend using the built-in jQuery library to avoid multiple registration or versions conflicts. For more information about this, see For developers: Avoid conflicts when loading multiple versions of jQuery.
