Special endpoints

Sitefinity exposes the following special endpoints that are used to execute specific tasks:

• Login
  Available at <RouteUrlName>/<serviceUrlName>/login
  The method requires a username and password and returns a token. This token is the authentication token and must be included in the Authorization header sent with the service call.
• Comments
Comments are exposed as complex property to content types which supports comments.
  • To query comments, use api/default/newsitems(<news_id>)/Comments
  • To post comments, use api/default/newsitems(<news_id>)/postcomment, then enter the comment in the following format:
