Use this configuration section to set up the user registration process.
In this section, you can turn on and off the email activation flow - whether the user needs to activate their account via email. You can also choose whether to send confirmation email acter account activation or password change. For more information, see Account activation flow.
To access the section, in Sitefinity CMS backend, navigate to Administration » Settings » Advanced » Security » User Registration Settings.
You can configure the following:

Provider
Enter the membership provider where you want to register new users when they fill out the Registration form.
Role provider
Enter the roles provider which you want to be assigned to new users.
Choose between:
NOTE: Email activation is the default behavior.
Send an email for successful registration
Select whether you want to send a successful registration email after a user account is activated.
Enter the email provider to be used for sending email. If you leave it blank, the default provider is used.

If you have selected Send an email for successful registration, enter the email that you want to appear in the successful registration email.

If you have chosen After confirmation, enter the email that you want to appear in the registration confirmation email.

If you have chosen After confirmation, enter the name of the sender that you want to appear in the registration confirmation email.
Send an email after password change
Select whether you want to send a successful password change email after a user has changed their password.
Activation link expiration in minutes
If you have chosen After confirmation, enter in minutes the period after which the account activation link, sent in the email, will expire
