Researchers at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) needed a better way to access disparate data on various materials that are used to develop aircraft and other equipment. To accomplish their mission, the team is developing a platform called HyperThoughtTM—an Operational Data Hub that provides real-time access to high volumes of research data.
This session will go into detail about why Enterprise NoSQL was the right choice, the underlying principles guiding the decision, and how certain features such as Semantics are used for total data lifecycle management. Future applications will also be discussed such as advanced additive manufacturing, 3D microstructure characterization, and topological data analysis.
