The explosion of data volumes and types has organizations accumulating overwhelming amounts of unstructured and semi-structured formats that are difficult to operationalize. With the development of AI- and machine learning-enhanced applications, come new challenges in data size, complexity, variety and environments. Data teams now need to support new workloads, requiring higher throughput and the ability to process high-volume, complex data efficiently.
The MarkLogic Product Team is excited to introduce MarkLogic Flux—a single application for automating all data movement and transformation workloads to and from your MarkLogic data platform. Flux strengthens the MarkLogic platform’s capabilities to import, process and export data at scale and from a wider array ofdata sources, including external databases, relational data sources and the cloud.
Join Rob Rudin, Senior Principal Software Engineer, Progress, as he introduces the new application and highlights how it simplifies data movement between MarkLogic and other data sources. Rob will walk you through how to get started with Flux and show a demo of how to easily import data from a variety of data sources into MarkLogic Server. He will also discuss what’s next on the Flux roadmap and how the product will support future functionality in MarkLogic Server 12—including preparing data for AI use cases.
