The Happiest Place on Earth Just Got Happier

October 03, 2014 Company and Community , Data & AI

Orlando and Progress! From October 6-8 it’s going to be a great combination, with plenty of magic -- not necessarily the ‘Disney’ kind but guaranteed to be worth your time.  By that I mean the great chemistry that happens when you get hundreds of Progress users and customers together with Progress coders, support people, product designers, and visionaries; everyone comes away with more information, new ideas, and a fresh start. Count on connecting with next-generation thinking and the coolest ideas in the industry.

Above all, for us at Progress, it is our chance to listen. And we do…

If you attended Exchange in the past you know that the talk is non-stop and frank. And it shapes the directions we take, our product road maps, and the way we do business.  At the same time, we can help you to hone your focus by sharing product insights and the “lessons learned” from across our community.

With so much happening across the industry and with so many developments within Progress itself, this year should be particularly lively and intense.  For example, we have nearly a dozen instructor-led, hands-on workshops planned along with roughly 50 breakout sessions organized under five session areas.  Among them are a deep dive on Node.js and why it matters, ways to prosper with Pacific, and a whole host of rapid application development topics covering integration, mobility, SaaS and Rollbase – and a workshop on building a mobile app in one hour or less!

If you haven’t yet done so, make plans to be at Exchange in Orlando next week. I look forward to seeing everyone there!
