Edit events

 

Edit, approve, and publish the content of an event

  1. On the Events page, open the event you want to edit by either:
    • Clicking that event.
    • Click the Actions dropdown on that event, and then choosing Content.
    • The Edit an event page opens.

      NOTE: In the right panel, you can see the current status of the event that you have opened for editing. You can also see the author, the time and date of the last update, the publication date, and a link to all existing versions of the item.

  2. Revise the event as required. See Create events for details.
  3. When you are finished, click Publish.
    If you have a workflow installed on your website, you can have different options. For more information, see Actions available in a workflow.

    If you are editing a published blog post, the system saves a draft of that post, but the published version is still visible on the webpage. To see which version is the currently published one, see Revision history for content items.

Delete an event

You can delete an event in the following ways:

  • On the Events page, select one or more events, and then click Delete in the toolbar.
  • On the Events page, click the Actions link of the event, and then choose Delete.
  • On Edit an event page, click More actions » Delete.

A dialog box opens for you to confirm the deletion.

If you activated the Recycle bin module, the item is not permanently deleted, instead it is moved to the recycle bin. You can later restore or permanently delete the item from the recycle bin. For more information, see Recycle bin.
