Sitefinity CMS provides you with a number of tools and a variety of settings to administer media file libraries. You can choose the method by which items are uploaded into libraries and choose which items are displayed in backend pages.
You can configure where and how media files are stored. For example, when using large chunks of data, you can opt to store files not in the database but in a dedicated storage provider. You can store media files not only in the database or your local file system, but in other storage providers, for instance, Azure.
In addition, Sitefinity CMS supports CDN storage of content libraries (images, videos, and documents). you can define different CDNs as blob storage providers. Each library can use precisely one blob storage provider. This provides a greater granular control on setting expiration times
