BuyNow widget loses the selected product

If you have used BuyNow widget with Sitefinity CMS 5.4 and upgraded to 6.0, you will notice that the widget appears as if it is not configured. This is because of the changes to how products are bound by life cycle starting in 6.0. To fix this issue, you must perform the following:

Log in to the Sitefinity CMS backend.
Edit the page that contains the BuyNow widget.
Reselect the product that is supposed to be shown.

Also this way you can ensure that the live version of the product is used.
