Edit list items

Editing, approving, and publishing the content of a list item

1. Go to the list items' page and open a list item for editing in one of the following ways:
   • Click the list item you want to edit.
   • Click the Actions link of the respective list item.
     From the dropdown list, click Edit.
   • The Edit list item page appears.

     NOTE: In the right of the page you can see the current status of the list item that you have opened for editing. You can also see the author, the time and date of the last update, the publication date, and a link to all existing versions of the item.

2. Perform procedure Create list items » Step 3 and Step 5.
3. When you are finished, perform one of the following:
• If you have opened for editing a list item in status Draft, Unpublished, or Rejected, perform procedure Manage pages and content items in status Draft, Unpublished, or Rejected.
• If you have opened for approving a list item in status Awaiting approval, perform procedure Manage pages and content items in status Awaiting approval.
• If you have opened for publishing a list item in status Awaiting publishing, perform procedure Manage pages and content items in status Awaiting publishing.
• If you have opened for editing a list item in status Published or Scheduled, perform procedures Manage pages and content items in status Published or Manage pages and content items in status Scheduled respectively.
  If you are editing a published list item, the system saves a draft of that list item, but the published version is still visible on the webpage. To see which version is the currently published one, see Revision history for content items.

Deleting list items

You can delete items in the following ways:

• On list items page, select one or more list items and click Delete button in the toolbar.
• On list items page, click the Actions link of the respective list item.
  From the dropdown list, click Delete.
• On Edit list item page, click More actions » Delete.

A dialog box appears where you must confirm the deletion.
