Locations module: Create the project

To create a project for the Locations custom module, perform the following:

1. Open the Sitefinity CMS Project Manager.
2. Select the desired Sitefinity CMS application.
   NOTE: It is recommended to develop your module in a clean Sitefinity CMS application. After finalizing the module you can reuse the .dll file in other Sitefinity CMS applications.
3. Click the Edit in Visual Studio button.
4. Save the solution in which the Sitefinity CMS project is opened by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+S or by selecting from the menu File » Save All.
5. Choose a location and a name for the solution and click Save.
6. From the main menu, open the context menu of the solution and choose Add » New Project.
7. From the dialog, click Visual C# » Windows » Class Library.
8. Name the project LocationsModule and click Add.
   A project with a single class file is generated in the solution.

   NOTE: Make sure your class library targets version 4.0 of the .NET Framework. To verify, open the context menu of the LocationsSample class library and select Properties. From the Application menu item, check the Target framework.

9. From the LocationsModule project, delete the Class1.cs file.
