Sitefinity Desktop Experience: Create a content block

You can use Sitefinity CMS Desktop Application to create content blocks from your desktop, regardless of whether you are online or offline.

To create a content block, perform the following:

1. In the upper-left corner, click MENU » Create new » Content block.
2. Enter a title of the block.
3. Under CONTENT, enter the text of the content block.

4. If you have added any custom fields for content blocks, all custom fields also appear.

5. You can classify your content block using the Tags and the Categories sections.

6. When you are finished creating the content block, you can do one of the following:
   
   • If you do not have internet access or you do not want to publish the block yet, you can save it as draft by clicking Save Draft button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
   • If you want to publish the block, click Publish button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
     You cannot publish an item, if you are working offline.
     If you are working offline, you can see the Go Online button in the lower-right corner of the screen. 
     Click Go Online and then Publish. 
     You cannot go online without access to the internet.
