Configure SiteSync cleanup

These settings allow you to remove old log entries from SiteSync and to clear the sync history.

To configure the cleanup setting, perform the following:

  1. In Sitefinity CMS backend, navigate to Administration » Settings » Advanced.
  2. In the left navigate to SiteSync » Cleanup.
    The Cleanup settings appear. There you can configure the following:
    • To enable automatic cleanup for synced items log entries and sync history, select Enable Site sync cleanup.
    • In Max age of Site sync log entries, enter the period in days after which the record for a synced entry will be removed.
    • In Max age of Site sync history, enter the period in days after which a sync operation will be removed from SiteSync history.
    • In Automatic sync items cleanup cron specification, you can enter a cron expression to specify a particular time when an automatic cleanup will be performed.
      For example, you can specify to clean log records every Friday at midnight.
  3. Save your changes.
