You can enable and configure out-of-the-box filters and notifications for outdated content and pages. Pages and certain content types can have a life span, after which they become outdated (expired) and need to be revised.
To enable and configure the outdated content settings, perform the following:

NOTE: Optionally, you can set a custom expiration period for a single page or multiple pages in bulk. For more information, see Set a custom expiration period for selected pages.
NOTE: The outdated content capability is available for: News, Events, Blog posts, List items, Content blocks, and all dynamic content types.
