Progress recommends that customers proactively plan to upgrade from retired phase products using the Lifecycle policy as a guideline.
Once a product version is retired, Progress will carry no obligation to provide patches, hotfixes, or any other updates for this version. If problems are found using products in the Retired Phase, Progress will whenever possible, work with customers towards an appropriate resolution if their licenses are currently under maintenance. This includes the possibility of a patch or a hotfix solely at the discretion of Progress and for a fee (based on an assessment of the effort required by Progress). However, the availability of knowledge and skills required to resolve issues on Retired Phase products is NOT guaranteed.
