The Ecommerce menu is not displayed in the multi-site instance

If you are running a site on Sitefinity CMS 5.4 with or without multi-site license and are using Ecommerce module for your store, when you upgrade to Sitefinity CMS 6.0 and apply a multi-site license you will see the Ecommerce menu missing. To fix this issue, perform the following:

  1. Go to “Manage sites”. To do so, click on the small globe icon in the top left corner of the Sitefinity CMS backend.
  2. Select the site that you want to enable Ecommerce for.
  3. Click on Actions » Configure modules.
  4. Check the Ecommerce Products, the Ecommerce Orders, and the Ecommerce Shipping modules.
  5. Click on change for each of them and respectively pick Default Ecommerce products , Default Ecommerce orders and Default Ecommerce Shipping as their providers.
  6. Save the changes.
