Use eWAY payment processor

If when Create payment methods, as payment processor you have chosen eWAY for processing payments for your online store, you must first make a test configuration and, after you have successfully tested eWAY transactions, you can switch to the live configuration. Note that eWAY operates only in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zeeland.

Perform the following procedures:

Setup test configuration
  1. Sign up at http://www.eway.com.au/ and complete the registration procedure.
    Remember your Customer ID.  
  2. On Create a payment method page, select the credit card(s) that you are going to accept.
  3. Select Test radio button.
  4. In Gateway URL input field, enter https://www.eway.com.au/gateway_cvn/xmltest/testpage.asp.
  5. In Eway Customer Id, enter the Customer ID, provided by eWAY.
  6. In Timeout, enter 30000.
  7. Go back to Create payment methods » Step 7.

Setup live configuration

 After you have tested how eWAY works and you want to move your website to production, you must configure the eWAY to work in live mode. To do this, in Step 3, select Live and in Step 4, enter https://www.eway.com.au/gateway_cvn/xmlpayment.asp.
