Sitefinity 13.3 is a Long-Term Supported version often preferred by many of our customers for its ease of use, stability and support for Web Forms. As technology continues to evolve and in line with the needs of our customers, we have incrementally introduced new capabilities and support for modern front-end technologies such as ASP.NET Core and Next.js in our recent releases.
To help our customers plan their upgrades, we have extended the sunset phase of Sitefinity 13.3 LTS by one year until April 2026.
Upgrading to the latest version of Sitefinity, currently version 15.2, provides our clients with an opportunity to enhance security, performance, scalability and productivity. This means that their websites can operate seamlessly for many years without interruption.
Technologies like ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC have been pivotal in the history of Sitefinity but modern frameworks such as ASP.NET Core and Next.js offer enhanced features, including improved performance, cross-platform support and headless CMS capabilities, making them an ideal choice for future-proofing your digital experience.
